Drop in PDF documents. One file at a time keeps the output predictable, and the convert button stays disabled until a file is in place.
The result comes back as an editable .doc file.
Most online converters work the same way: you upload a file, it lands on somebody's server, gets written to a temporary folder, and is deleted afterwards. That is fine right up until the day you are converting an unreleased product mockup, a signed contract, or a client's bank statement — because all you get is a promise, not a fact. PDF to Word here never sends your file anywhere. The conversion runs with JavaScript inside the page you are already looking at, so the bytes never leave your device. That is why there is no upload bar, no "file too large" ceiling, and nothing left behind on a server to delete. There is no account to create and no watermark to remove. It also keeps working offline once loaded, which matters on a train or a patchy office Wi-Fi.
This extracts text only. Images, tables and exact layout are not carried over.
Keep the original file until you have checked the output. If the result is not what you expected, try one of the related tools below rather than converting the same file repeatedly.
These tools cover one-off jobs. If you need a converter inside your app, a pipeline that handles thousands of files, or a team set up with the right tooling, that is a build job — and we do those.
